Howard “Jake” Hiller, 56, husband of Misty June Hiller, resident of Mt. Lebanon Road, entered into rest Wednesday September 10, 2025 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born on October 16, 1968 in Orange, NJ, to the late Elton Howard Sr., and Hazel Van Gordon Hiller, he graduated from Newberg Free Academy in Newberg, NY. He worked most of his life in construction and remodeling homes.
Jake was an avid outdoorsman, camping, fishing, gardening and farming. He enjoyed traveling with his family and was a big baby man when it came to children. He loved classic cars and always wanted to try to rebuild a Bel-Aire.
A member of Siloam Baptist Church in Ninety Six, he will be missed by his church family.
Surviving other than his loving wife of 10 years, of the home, are his children, Daniel Aubrey Hiller and David Allen Null, both of the home, Roberta Adina Hiller of Buffalo, NY, Amanda Faith Ownbey of Connelly Springs, FL, Christina Rose Cote (John) of Otisville, NY, and Jonathan Decker of Peoria, AZ; his sister, Missy Hiller; his grandchildren, Jaelynn, Jaxon, Caleb, Charlie, Leland, Miles, Hazel, and Ares; special nephews, Elton Hiller III (Heidi) and Delmore Reeves (Nicolina); nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother, Elton Howard Hiller, Jr., and his sister, Katherine Susan Hiller.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday September 14th at 2:00 PM from Siloam Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Howle officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at the church.
The family is at their respective homes.
