Helen Elorise Ramey

Helen E. Ramey, 80, of 2756 College View Dr., Melbourne, Florida, formerly of Abbeville, SC, passed away Monday, Feb. 21, 2011 at Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge, Florida.

Born in Donaldsville, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson Ramey and Ruth Smith Ramey.

Helen was a retired Head of the Secretarial Pool for the U.S. Civil Service Commission. She was also of the Methodist faith. She will be missed by her loving family and many friends.

Survivors include her family Dawn B. Williams; Melinda J. Davis and her husband John and son Travis J.; Guy Williams and children Michael E. and Emily M. Williams; a dear friend Huguette Pyska and a number of cousins.

She was preceded in death by a son Michael.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011 at 1:00 PM in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with the Rev. Jason Wilson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 PM Friday evening at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be John Davis, Travis Davis, Guy Williams, Michael Williams, Jackie McCurry and Andy Pressley.
