My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I couldn't believe you went so fast as it seems like just yesterday we all were laughing and talking at the hospital. I had high hopes that you would recover, but God had other ideas. I know you will be missed by all. Love and prayers Darrell and Cheryl

I knew George only through our business. I had known he had some issues with health. For a long period of time we had a great relationship. I had numerous long conversations with him. Although I never met him personally. I felt like I knew him. He was a lot like myself. A straight up, real gentleman. Real deal, George was. If he told you something, you could bank on it. I am so saddened by this. Truly the world and myself have lost a good friend.

My Dear George, I do not think I have ever been as shocked as I was when I saw your name in the paper. I hope you took the thought with you that you were indeed one of my favorite fellows. I have had East Teak on my mind all day and probably will for a few days. You were definitely a large part to my East Teak days. I am sending hugs on angel wings and prayers will follow them as they are delivered to you. Rest In Peace my friend. Judy

Seems like yesterday George (whose hair was still red) was laying in the floor playing with my red headed son Rob---everytime Ive seen him since his first words would be "How's Rob doing?" Have warm memories of George as a student and friend. Where does time go? Heartfelt sympathy for George's family and many friends.
