Frank "Crackshot" Allen Robison

July 8, 1918 — March 9, 2004

Frank Allen "Crackshot" Robison Sr., 85, of 102 Robison Road died Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at Abbeville County Medical Hospital.

Born in Abbeville, he was a retired textile employee with Abbeville Mills having worked many years in the dye room. He was also a retired farmer. He was a member of The Cattlemen's Association. He was also a member of Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church, where he was also a former deacon.

Surviving are widow, Dorothy Miller Robison of the home; sons, Frank Allen Robison Jr. of Abbeville and Pete Smith of Rincon, Ga.; and a sister, Sarah Alice Price of Abbeville.

He was the son of the late Thomas Robison and Eugenia Palmer Robison Calvert. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Andrew Robison, and a sister, Elsie Gray Robison.

Services are at 3 p.m. Thursday at Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church by the Revs. Jeffery Lang and Bob Piephoff; burial will follow in Long Cane Cemetery. The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
