Erskine Grier Uldrick, Jr

Erskine "Grier" Uldrick, Jr., 85, resident of 3027 Hwy. 201 passed away Sunday June 30, 2013 at Anderson Area Medical Center.

Born in Dewey Rose, Georgia, he was a son of the late Erskine Grier Uldrick and Fanny Mae Clark Uldrick.

Grier was a 1945 graduate of Greenville High School. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II. Grier was a mason and a member of the Hejaz Shrine Temple in Greenville, SC. He retired as an Electrical Lineman with CPW with over 26 years of service. He was also a member of Little Mountain Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Brett Uldrick and Scott Uldrick both of Abbeville, SC; a brother, Francis Clark Uldrick of Moonville, SC; a granddaughter, Desiree' Dodson and a great-granddaughter, Brianna Booker.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday July 3, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Christopher Meyer III officiating. The burial will follow in Bethlehem ARP Church Cemetery. The family is at the home 3027 Hwy. 201 Abbeville.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Wednesday afternoon at the funeral Home prior to services
