Ernestine Guth McDonald

Ernestine Guth McDonald, 75, resident of 3870 Hwy. 184 West wife of Randall Joseph McDonald died Thursday Nov. 1, 2007 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Flushing, N.Y. she was a daughter of the late Arthur R. and Adlyn Beebe Guth.

She was a homemaker and member of the Due West ARP Church. The love of Ernestine's life was her art work and sculpturing which she enjoyed greatly. She used her creativity doing prop work for the community theatre. She also enjoyed raising Siamese cats and spending time with her husband Randall on their country homesite.

Survivors include her husband Randall Joseph McDonald of the home; a daughter Loretta Blackwell of Wesley Chapel, FL; 2 sons Ken McDonald of Greenwood, SC and Randall McDonald of Saxonburg, PA; 1 sister Eileen Schmid of Greenwood, SC and 1 brother Arthur Guth of Forest Hill, N.Y.; 9 grandchildren.

Services will be conducted Monday Nov. 5, 2007 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Draffin officiating.The family is at the home 3870 Hwy. 184 W. Due West, SC.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 PM Monday afternoon at the funeral home prior to services.
