Emma Sue Partian Gable

Emma "Sue" Partain Gable, 64, resident of 29 Troy Rd. wife of Vester Gable died Wednesday Oct. 7, 2009 at her home.

Born in Lavonia, Georgia she was a daughter of the late B.B. 'Bart' and Ruth King Partain.

She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and her many friends.

Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years Vester Gable of the home; 2 sons Aaron Gable and Terry Gable both of Abbeville, SC; 3 brothers Thomas, Malcolm and Jimmy Partain all of Hartwell, Georgia; 2 sisters Shirley Brown of Winterville, Georgia and Jean Little of Elberton, Georgia; 1 half-sister Mildred Sheppard of Conyers, Georgia.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday Oct. 9, 2009 at 3:00 PM in the Chandler Chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Abbeville, SC.

The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 PM Friday afternoon prior to services. The family is at the home 29 Troy Rd. Hwy. 28 Abbeville, SC.

Memorials in memory of Mrs. Gable may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont 408 West Alexander Ave. Greenwood, SC 29646.
