Elizabeth Eleanor Price

May 23, 1923 — February 27, 2010

Elizabeth Eleanor Price, 86, former resident of 250 Shrine Club Rd. passed away Saturday Feb. 27, 2010 at Abbeville Area Medical Center.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC she was a daughter of the late Tillman Otto Price and Mollie Cochran Price.

Miss Price graduated from Abbeville High School. She retired from Abbeville Memorial Hospital as a nursing assistant with over 42 years of service. She was a loyal and faithful member of Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church. She will be lovingly missed by her family and many friends.

Survivors include 1 brother Benjamin F. Price of Abbeville, SC and special friends the Barry Jacks family of Abbeville, SC and several generations of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers James W. Price and Henry O. Price and a sister Mary P. Erwin.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday March 1, 2010 at Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church at 3:00 PM with the Rev. Dr. John Miller officiating with burial to follow in Long Cane Cemetery.

The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM Monday afternoon in the church social hall prior to services.

Memorial may be made in memory of Miss Price to Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church 194 Hwy. 20 Abbeville, SC 29620 or to the Abbeville Area Medical Center Foundation PO Box 887 Abbeville, SC 29620.
