Elizabeth Brock Link Burrell

Elizabeth Brock Link Burrell, 90, resident of 133 Brock Drive passed away peacefully Tuesday Oct. 22, 2013 at her home.

Born in McCormick, SC she was a daughter of the late William Walter Brock and Annie Collins Brock. She was twice married first to the late Wilbur H. Link.

Elizabeth was a retired dental assistant having worked for over 22 years for the late Dr. W.W. Johnson, Jr. She was a loyal and faithful member of Buffalo Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her loving and kind demeanor towards her family and many friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & great-great-grandmother.

Survivors include her husband William T. (Bill) Burrell of the home; a daughter Sandra Busbee and her husband George (Butch) and a son Charles Link and his wife Connie all of Troy, SC; two step-daughters Carol Williams of Evans, Georgia and Jenny Silver (Stan) of Prosperity, SC; 9 grandchildren Stephen Busbee (Andrea) of Abbeville, SC, Kevin Busbee (Marissa) of Troy, SC, Jennifer Davenport (Michael) of Greenwood, SC, Angela Fairey (Clint) of Greenwood, SC and Kimberly Brown (Shane) of Greenwood, SC, Candance Strange of Vicksburg, MS, Sabrina Coleman (Chris) of North Augusta, SC, Justin Silver (Jennifer) of Gilbert, SC and Jon Silver (Danielle) of Andrews, N.C.; 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday Oct. 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Buffalo Baptist Church with the Revs. Kile Antone and Ryan Eklund officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home 133 Brock Drive Troy, SC.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home, Abbeville, SC.
