Edward Franklin Carroll

July 1, 1928 — July 14, 2008

Edward Franklin Carroll, 80, resident of 401 Maple St. husband of Bernice Hall Carroll passed away Monday July 14, 2008 at Abbeville Area Medical Center.

Born in Abbeville Co. he was a son of the late Horace C. and Magnolia Graham Carroll.

He was a retired insurance sales agent with the Liberty Life Insurance Co. He was also a member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Ed will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Ssurvivors include his beloved wife of 62 years Bernice Hall Carroll of the home; 2 daughters Sandra Carroll of the home and Pamela Wilson of Abbeville, SC; 1 brother James "Jimmy" Carroll of Clinton, SC; 1 grandson Eric Wilson and a great-grandson Bentley Wilson.
He was preceded in death by a brother Preston Carroll.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday July 16, 2008 at 3:00 PM in the Chandler Chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev.'s Arnold Johnson and Dan Smyth officiating. The burial will follow in Lebanon Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family is at the home 401 Maple St. Abbeville, SC.

The body is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 PM Tuesday evening.
