I am a cousin from the Thomason-Townes side of the family. I remember the fun family reunions and him driving stock car. It always made my Mom (Geneva Thomason Woods) so scared for him to drive so fast. I thought it was fun. I remember our times when we would drive up from Atlanta and spend the weekend at the lake. He was always a "Gentle Giant" to me, just like Poppa Doc. Prayers for my cousins Cheri, Terrance and Adam, Joyce and the Cann family. You are in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. We love you all.

I'd also like to send my condolences to my cousins you are in my prayers. And all of the immediate family as well. I'm sorry I can't be there for you but you are on my mind. I hope you find peace.

I'm truly saddened by this news. Donnie was a huge part of my childhood during summer vacations. I got to hang out at the shop go to the races. But he also taught me how to work on cars as well. I'll have those memories for the rest of my life. Godspeed Donnie God got himself one of a kind.
