Dexter Mabry

Marion "Dexter" Mabry, 53, resident of 505 East Durst Ave. passed away Monday Jan. 18, 2016 at his home.

Born in Greenwood, SC he was a son of the late J. Rivers Mabry, Sr. and Caroline Black Mabry.

Dexter was a former electrician having worked for Mabry Electrical Co. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two brothers J. Rivers Mabry, Jr. (Jackie) of Abbeville, SC and Francis Mabry (Wendy) of Belton, SC; one sister Caroline M. King of Spartanburg, SC; one son Preston Mabry and a daughter Brittany Clinkscales (Brad) of Abbeville, SC.

A Celebration of Dexter's life will be conducted Sunday Jan. 24, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Chandler Chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the funeral home prior to services.

Memorials in memory of Dexter may be made to The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home 208 S. Main St. Abbeville, SC to help defray funeral cost.
