Debra "Debbie" Manning Jacks

Debra Manning Jacks, 51, resident of 413 Shrine Club Rd., wife of Barry Jacks, passed away Monday May 13, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Hospital in Simpsonville, SC.

Born Jan. 8, 1962, she was a daughter of Katherine Hall Manning and the late Clyde Manning.

Debbie was a Registered Nurse having graduated from Piedmont Technical College. She worked in many capacities most recently as School Nurse in School District 60. She was an active member of Abbeville First Baptist Church. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She will be remembered as being a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Barry Jacks, of the home; a son, Seth Jacks and his wife, Casey, and a daughter, Hannah Speer and her husband, Tripp, all of Abbeville, SC; her mother, Katherine Hall Manning of Abbeville, SC; and
4 grandchildren, Abe and Nate Speer, Maribeth and Clint Jacks.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Manning and a brother, Roy Manning.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 4:30 PM in Long Cane Cemetery with the Revs. Steve Jacks and Dr. John Keith officiating. The family is at the home of her daughter Mr. & Mrs. Tripp Speer 119 Shrine Club Rd. Abbeville, SC.

The family will receive friends at the home of Tripp and Hannah Speer Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 until 7:00 PM and on Wednesday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM.
