Danny Eugene Rousey

Danny Eugene Rousey, 57, resident of 924 Pettigrew Rd. passed away Saturday September 30, 2017 at his home.

Danny was born April 23, 1960 a son of Dorothy Dutton Rousey and the late Melvin Eugene Rousey.

Danny was a carpenter and construction worker. He enjoyed life to the fullest and will be missed by his loving family and many friends.

Survivors include his mother Dorothy Dutton Rousey of Abbeville, SC; two brothers Dale Rousey of PA and Dennis Rousey of Abbeville, SC; two sisters Kathy Hill of Ware Shoals, SC and Melissa Waters of Abbeville, SC; two daughters Angel Stubbs and Shannon Cook both of Rockingham, NC; his caregivers Tammy and Chris Gable, Nathan, Jacqueline and Mary Fay all of Starr, SC. and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Rousey and a daughter Jessica Hope.

A Celebration of Danny's life will be conducted Tuesday Oct. 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM in The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Crocker officiating.

The family will receive friends after services at the funeral home.
