Constance "Connie" Elizabeth Johnson

Constance 'Connie' Madsen Johnson, 80, resident of 1002 N. Main St. wife of Clarence 'Larry' Johnson passed away Sunday June 21, 2008 at the Hospice House in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Sparrows Point, Maryland she was a daughter of the late Hugo and Elsa Rosenblad Madsen.

She was a retired Real Estate Broker and devoted much of her time to caring for foster children. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 60 years Clarence 'Larry' Johnson of the home; 2 daughters Carol Wilson and her husband J.T. of Abbeville, SC and Nancy Miller and her husband Robert of Stroudsburg, PA; 1 son Michael Johnson of Seattle, Washington; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son Steven Johnson.

A Celebration of Connie's Life will be conducted Monday June 23, 2008 at 3:00 PM in the Chandler Chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Leland 'Sandy' Scott officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Monday afternoon prior to services at the funeral home. The family is at the home of her daughter Mr. & Mrs. J.T. Wilson 173 Dogwood Lane Abbeville, SC.
