Colleen Suttles McMahan

Colleen Suttles McMahan, 85, resident of 396 Ray McMahan Rd. widow of Ray Duckworth McMahan passed away Sunday Oct. 28, 2012 at Anderson Area Medical Center.

Born in Abbeville, SC she was a daughter of the late James L. "Jim" Suttles and Lillie McKee Suttles.

Colleen was a retired textile employee having worked for Iva Manufacturing and Flexible Technologies. She was a dedicated member of Midway Baptist Church. Colleen enjoyed spending time with her loving family and preparing her scrumptious meals that everyone enjoyed.

Survivors include a son, Mickey McMahan of Iva, SC; 2 sisters, Juanita Williams and Betty Campbell both of Iva, SC; 3 grandsons, James Kelly McMahan, John Michael (Mike) McMahan and his wife, Cindy, and Ronnie Glenn McMahan and his wife, Pam, all of Iva, SC; 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Ray McMahan and a daughter, Edith Lougenia McMahan.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday Oct. 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Midway Baptist Church with The Rev.'s Chad Charles and Terry Greer officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home of her grandson Mr. & Mrs. Mike McMahan 5917 Flat Rock Rd. Iva, SC.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:30 PM Tuesday afternoon at Midway Baptist Church prior to services.
