Clyde Douglas Wilson

Clyde Douglas Wilson, 72, resident of Hickory St., entered into rest Wednesday July 9, 2025 at his residence.

Born on June 4, 1953 in Abbeville to the late Clyde and Annie Ruth Banks Wilson, he was a graduate of Calhoun Falls High School. Clyde spent 23 years in the Army National Guard, Abbeville 125th En Co. He was a retired truck driver.

He was a member of Mt. Olive Holiness Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Marcus D. Wilson and wife Amber of NM, Karlton “Brent” Wilson of Greenwood, and Ashley W. Gorham and husband Oscar of Belton; his brothers, Rufus Wilson, and Samuel Wilson both of Calhoun Falls; his sister, Claudia Clark of Calhoun Falls; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was predeceased by his brothers, Steve Wilson and Guy Wilson, and a sister, Georgia Mae Anderson.

Memorial services will be held at a later date and will be announced by Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home.
