Clyde Manning

Clyde Manning, 70, resident of 79 White Creek Rd. husband of Katherine Hall Manning passed away Friday Oct. 29, 2010 at the Hospice House in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Abbeville Co, SC he was a son of the late Jeff Manning and Beatrice Ellington Manning.

He was a retired maintenance electrician with Mohawk Industries. He was also a member of the Abbeville First Baptist Church. Clyde enjoyed spending time with his loving family and many friends.

Survivors include his beloved wife Katherine Hall Manning of the home; 1 daughter Debbie Jacks and her husband Barry of Abbeville, SC; 2 brothers Tommy and Kenny Manning both of Calhoun Falls, SC; 2 grandchildren Hannah Speer and her husband Tripp and Seth Jacks and his wife Casey all of Abbeville, SC; 4 great-grandchildren, Abe and Nate Speer and Maribeth and Clint Jacks.

He was preceded in death by a son Roy Manning.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday Nov. 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with the Rev.'s Virgil Manning and Kile Antone officiating. The family is at the home 79 White Creek Rd. Abbeville, SC.

The body is at the Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday at the residence 79 White Creek Rd. Abbeville, SC.

In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Mr. Manning may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont 408 W. Alexander Ave. Greenwood, SC 29646.
