Christine Suber Rhodes

Christine Suber Rhodes, 94, of 300 Suber Road died Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at Abbeville County Memorial Hospital, Abbeville.

Born in Abbeville County, she was the daughter of the late William Russell and Willie Mae Below Suber. She was twice married first to the late Arthur Babb and second to the late S.R. Rhodes. She was a homemaker and a member of Bells United Methodist Church.

Surviving are sisters, Sarah Beaty and Fay Broome, both of Abbeville; brothers, Max H. Suber and William Alroy Suber, both of Abbeville; stepdaughter, Grace Bobo of Roebuck; and three stepson.

Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bells United Methodist Church; burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon after services at the church.

The family is at their respective homes.
