Charles Wendell Hall

Charles Wendell Hall, Jr., 53, resident of 326 Nation Rd. husband of Teresa King Hall passed away Sunday July 6, 2008 at Hillcrest Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC he was a son of Charles Wendell Hall, Sr. and the late Sarah Phillips Hall.

Charles was retired from the CSX Railroad and became owner & operator of several business's after retirement. Charles was a member of Midway Baptist Church. He was a mason and a member of the Dew Drop Lodge. Charles was an avid fan of Gospel Music having written and recorded a CD of his own. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and son. Charles will be greatly missed by his many friends.

Survivors include his beloved wife Teresa King Hall of the home; 2 daughters Sandi Hall and her Fiance` Chad McClain of Abbeville, SC, Courtney Hall also of Abbeville, SC; 1 son William "Will" Charles Hall of Bamberg, SC; 1 step-daughter Amber Allen and her husband Garrod of Pelzer, SC and his father Charles Wendell Hall, Sr. of Abbeville, SC.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday July 9, 2008 at 2:00 PM in Midway Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Greer, Rev. Dr. Ray Simpson and Mr. Larry Cantrell officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home 326 Nation Rd. Abbeville, SC.

Charles is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will recieve friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Tuesday evening.
