Carrol "John" Lamar Hall

Carrol Lamar "John" Hall, 72, resident of 722 Bankshire Dr. husband of Frances Elliott Hall passed away Saturday Aug. 24, 2013 at Gwinnett Co. Medical Center.

Born in Abbeville, SC he was a son of the late Clarence Eugene Hall and Thelma Beatrice Hughes Hall.

He was a retired Field Engineer with the US Navy. He retired from the Navy with 21 years of service. He was a 1958 graduate of Abbeville High School.

Survivors are: His beloved wife of 47 years Frances Elliott Hall of the home; 2 sons Dusty Lamar Hall of Shelby, Ohio and Michael William Hall of Suwanee, Georgia; 1 sister Rachael H. Yoder of Abbeville, SC and 7 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters Shelba Jean Lloyd and Elaine H. King and a daughter Luquita Driehorst.

A Celebration of Carrol's life will be conducted Thursday Aug. 29, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC.

Memorials in memory of Carrol may be made to a charity of one's choice.
