Carolyn Polston Schoenfeld

December 12, 1930 — June 17, 2022

Carolyn Polston Schoenfeld, 91, resident of 1780 Stevenson Rd. widow of Arthur William Schoenfeld passed away Friday June 17, 2022 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Born in Laurinburg, NC she was a daughter of the late Claude Polston and Mae Wallace Polston.

Carolyn was a retired X-Ray Technician having worked for MedPlus and Shallowford Hospital. She was a member at Calvary Chapel in Greenwood, SC.

Carolyn Schoenfeld, our beautiful mother and grandmother lived a life characterized by patient love, kindness towards all people familiar or passing exchange with strangers, she possessed a wonderful wit, and a listening ear. She crafted beautiful quilts, was a great cook and enjoyed collecting antiques. She loved and trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ with all of her heart and because of that we are greatly comforted by her joyous arrival at her home with her Savior, though we will miss her very much.

The family would like to extend a big THANK YOU to the members of Agape Care of South Carolina for the loving and kind care to their mother in her final days.

Survivors include: a son Arthur Schoenfeld, Jr. (Susan); a daughter Beth Robertson (Yancey); five grandchildren Dillon Robertson (Kelley), Abby O’Sullivan (Billy), Sam Robertson (Anileidy), Joey Schoenfeld (Brittany Hester), and Caroline Price (Andrew); five great-grandchildren Silas Taylor, Clementine O’Sullivan, Magnolia Price, Isabel Robertson and Ira O’Sullivan.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday June 24, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Chapel in Greenwood, SC with the Rev. David Evans officiating. A family burial will be Saturday June 25, 2022 at 12 noon in Eternal Hills Cemetery in Snellville, Georgia.
