I don't know if I've ever laughed so hard as when I was talking with Carolyn. She had a zest for life and a quick wit. While I'm sad for the family, I praise God that Carolyn is with the Lord adding to the laughter and joy in heaven. She will be missed, but we will see her again!

I always enjoyed being with Carolyn at family functions, being stimulated by her clever wit. To Beth, Yancey and all her immediate and extended family, I pray that the treasured memories Carolyn leaves with you will, in time, become nostalgic comfort. May God continue to be near you through His people. With deepest sympathy and love, June Shaw

Aunt Carolyn was the light at the end of every tunnel I found myself going through. She could make me laugh in the darkest times. She called my daddy, her brother, C and my Mother Bo and as long as she lived she kept them alive in our conversations. She loved my sister, Jennie and our cousin, Doris. She's reunited with all of them and I know she has them all in stitches. Beth, you're her angel on earth and my condolences to you and Art and everyone who knew her.

What an honor it was to be Carolyn's friend. We were members of the Reachout Bible School Class and the Dayspring Ladies Ministries group at Mt. Carmel Christian Church when Carolyn lived in GA.
Full of wit and love, "well done, good and faithful servant". Grateful that God brought her into our lives, Sandra Ward (Charles and Justin)
