Carolyn Denny Kitchen

Carolyn Denny Kitchen, 67, resident of 1901 Hwy. 71 wife of Ernest Kitchen died Saturday Nov. 12, 2005 at Hospice Care of Piedmont, Hospice House in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Jenkins, KY she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Ella Mae Davis Denny.

She was a graduate of William & Mary University with a BA in Education. She was a school teacher and a homemaker.

Survivors are: husband Ernest 'Ernie' Kitchen of the home, 1 daughter Becky Harrison of Calhoun, GA and a son Ray Kitchen of Norfolk, VA, 4 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son John David Kitchen.

Services will be conducted Tuesday Nov. 15, 2005 at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Norman Guess officiating.

The family is at the home 1901 Hwy. 71 Abbeville, SC.

The family request that flowers be ommited and memorials may be made to Hospice Care of the Piedmont, Hospice House, 408 West Alexander Ave. Greenwood, SC 29646.
