Carlos Jacob Belcher

Rev. Carlos Jacob Belcher Sr., 75, of 907 Sharon Heights, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at his home.

Born in Greenville, he was the Pastor of Stone Bethel Holiness Church and a part time truck driver with the Abbeville County landfill. He was a member of Stone Holiness Church.

Surviving are widow, Lucia McNeely Belcher of the home; daughters, Sue B. Grammas of Easley, Wanda B. Caldwell of Woodruff, Beth McClure of Shelby, N.C. and Sheila Daniels of Naples, Fla.; sons, Carlos J. Belcher and Thomas E. Belcher, both of Easley, Donald C. Belcher of Naples, Fla. and J. Hal Belcher of Travelers Rest; brother, Claude E. Belcher of Travelers Rest; sister, Evelyn Miller of Easley; 20 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was the son of the late Ernest J. and Susie Edwards Belcher.

Graveside services are at 3 p.m. Sunday at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Easley, with the Rev. Roy Goodsen officiating. The body is at The Chandler Jackson Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday.

The family is at the home, 907 Sharon Heights Road, Abbeville.
