Billy Willis

Billy Frank Willis, Jr., 59, resident of 577 New Rd., husband of Laura Busby Willis, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at his home with his loving family by his side.

Born in Abbeville Co. SC, he was a son of Billy Frank Willis, Sr. and Jo Ann Dickson Willis.

Billy attended Clemson University and Graduated from Lander College in 1977. He worked for Pirelli Cable for 22 years and currently was employed with Greenwood Fabricating and Plating in Greenwood, SC. He was a member and very active in Bells United Methodist Church. The biggest joy of Billy's life was being a good husband and a loving, caring father.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 30 years, Laura Busby Willis of the home; daughter, Anna Willis and her boyfriend Chris "Craw" Thompson; Carson Busby Dula and Evie Dula; his parents, Billy F. an Jo Ann Willis; and his in-laws, George and Bonnie Busby.

He was preceded in death by a brother Joe Dickson Willis.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday August 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Bells United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Lindley officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home 577 New Rd. Abbeville, SC.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:30 PM Tuesday evening at Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home.
