Betty Campbell Hall

September 13, 1927 — April 15, 2012

Betty Campbell Hall, 84, resident of 1592 Bulls Horne Rd. Nation Community, widow of David Clayton "Woot" Hall, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Hospice of the Piedmont in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Abbeville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Eben Campbell and Alice Crout Campbell.

Betty was retired from the Abbeville Shirt Plant with over 41 years of service. She was a devoted member of Midway Baptist Church. Betty will be remembered for her kind and caring demeanor and will be sorely missed by her loving family and many friends.

Survivors include a son David Hall and his wife, Sherri, of Abbeville, SC; 3 daughters Tobitha Lynch and her husband, Henry, of Abbeville, SC, Joanne Alewine and her husband, Tommy, of Antreville, SC and Alice Sorrow and her husband, Brian, of Abbeville, SC; 7 grandchildren, Lynn (Gregg) Holtzclaw, Teresa (Eric) Williams, Keith (Rebecca) Alewine, Mark (Lisa) Alewine, Clay Hall, Cassidy and Drake Sorrow and 5 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Lauren Williams, Dylan Alewine, Gabby and Parker Alewine; devoted and special friend Cecile Dunbar of Abbeville, SC.

She was preceded in death by a son Waymon Ben Hall and 2 sisters Mamie Dent and Irmaline Hall.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Midway Baptist Church with the Rev.'s Chad Charles and Tommy Alewine officiating. The family is at the home 1592 Bulls Horn Rd. Abbeville, SC.

The family will receive friends after services at the gravesite.
