Betty Link Bowen

Betty Link Bowen, 86, resident of 406 Chestnut St. widow of James A. "Poss" Bowen passed away Saturday July 25, 2009 at Hospice of the Piedmont, Hospice House with her loving family by her side.
Born in Abbeville Co. SC she was a daughter of the late Robert Arthur Link, Sr. and Annie Bailey Link.
She was a retired substitute study hall teacher at Abbeville High School. She was also an accomplished pianist. She was also a loyal member of Main St. United Methodist and a member of the Wesley Sunday School Class. She will be sorely missed by her loving family and many friends.
Survivors are: 1 son Bobby Bowen and his wife Betty of Abbeville, SC ; 2 grandchildren Pamela Wilson and her husband Boyce and Jimmy Bowen all of Abbeville, SC; 1 great-granddughter Baylee Wilson.
Graveside services will be condcuted Monday July 27, 2009 at 2:00 PM in Lomg Cane Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Tayloe officiating. The family is at the home of her son Mr. & Mrs. Bobby Bowen 117 Rock Hill Rd. Abbeville, SC.
Mrs. Bowen is at the CHandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 PM Sunday evening.
