Bessie Selfridge

Bessie Linda Ellins Selfridge, 72, resident of The Oaks Greenwood, entered into rest Saturday June 29, 2024, at her residence.

Born June 28, 1952, in Newark, NJ to the late Morris Lindy and Dorothy Hendickson Ellins, she was a graduate of Trenton High School in Trenton NJ. She was a financial secretary for many years. After moving to Abbeville, she was a real estate agent until her health no longer allowed her to work.

Surviving are her children, Christin Selfridge of Abbeville, and Richard Selfridge of Tidioute, PA; her brother, Charles Schultis; her grandchildren, Treyah Grace Selfridge and Quinton Selfridge. She was predeceased by a brother, Mark Lindy Ellins.

Memorial services will be conducted Friday, July 12, 2024, at 6:00 PM from the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church Abbeville with Rev. Chris Sullivan and Mr. Gene Pinson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
