Anna Ramey Baker

Anna Ramey Baker, 86, resident of 1318 Cedar Springs Rd. widow of Guy Winchester Baker died Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at Abbeville Co. Memorial Hospital.

Born January 8, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Lee and Bertha Jane Edmonds Ramey.

She was a retired switchboard operator with Abbeville Co. Memorial Hospital. She was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors are one daughter, Dawn B. Williams of Abbeville, SC; granddaughter, Melinda Jane Davis and her husband, John B. of Abbeville, SC; grandson, Douglas Guy Williams of Abbeville, SC; great grandsons, John Travis Davis and Michael Evan Williams; great granddaughter, Emily Morgan Williams; niece, Helen E. Ramey of Melboron, FL.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 16, 2004 at 3:00PM from the Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Darren Hook officiating. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The body is at the Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00PM Wednesday evening. The family is at the home 1318 Cedar Springs Rd., Abbeville, SC.
