Addie Azalee Ferguson

July 12, 1913 — February 9, 2003

Azalee Ferguson of 223 Main St. died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, at her home.

Born in Abbeville County, she was a retired stenographer and a member of Little Mountain Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are brothers, John T. Ferguson of Due West, and Harold Ferguson of Johnson City, Tenn.; and sisters, Mable Ferguson of Savannah, Ga., Betty Sue Scearce of Divide, Colo., and Barbara LaBrecque of Rumson, N.J.

She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Corrie Amanda Evans Ferguson.

Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Little Mountain Presbyterian Church cemetery by the Revs. John Parks and Calvin Draffin and Dr. James Bell. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Chandler-Jackson Funeral.

The family will be at the home.

The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice Care of the Piedmont, c/o 408 W. Alexander St., Greenwood, S.C. 29646, or to Little Mountain Presbyterian Church, 3836 S.C. 28, Abbeville, S.C. 29620, and to the Due West ARP Church, 112 N. Main St., Due West, S.C. 29639.
